Hawaii, Big Island
Thursday February 20th, 2003

We spent Wednesday night back at Erica's. Thursday morning we had a yoga class, and then Erica and I went to check out the petroglyphs.

This natural lava formation was covered with 5,000 year old petroglyphs. The ancient polynesians carved the rock and used lava caves like these as shelters from the wind and rain.

After checking out the petroglyphs, we went to the beach at 'Anaeho'omalu Bay, also known as "A-bay"
